Son Society identifies 4 strategic breakthroughs for sustainable development

Son Society was established on the basis of merging two communes, Cat Lam and Cat Son, with a natural area of over 180 km² and a population of over 14,300 people.

In the 2020-2025 term, the two communes have achieved many outstanding results in various fields. Accordingly, the gross local product increased by an average of 12.39% per year. In 5 years, the total state budget revenue is estimated at 135,478 billion VND; the disbursement of medium-term public investment capital every year has met and exceeded the set plan. The average income per capita reached 56.75 million VND/year.

In the 2025-2030 term, the Son Commune Party Committee has set out 22 main targets. Accordingly, the average annual growth rate of total product value is expected to reach 7.6%; average income per capita by 2030 will reach 64 million VND; the multidimensional poverty rate will be reduced by 0.46%; and the number of new party members admitted annually will reach 3% or more of the total number of party members.

At the same time, Son Society identified 4 breakthroughs: improving the quality and efficiency of agricultural production; mobilizing resources to invest in infrastructure, attracting investment, promoting the development of industry, trade and services; training and improving the quality of human resources, streamlining the apparatus, perfecting the organization, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the Party organization and agencies in the political system; focusing on administrative reform, developing e-government, developing science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation.

Speaking at the Congress, comrade Tran Cang suggested that the Party Committee of Hoi Son commune continue to build and strengthen solidarity within the Party and among the people and consider this an important factor and endogenous driving force for development.

Along with that, change the way of thinking and working in leading, directing, and organizing the implementation of socio -economic development tasks; be proactive, creative, dare to think and act for the common good; act based on reality and for the benefit of the people; not be passive and wait for support from superiors.

After the Congress, the Commune Party Committee needs to urgently research, develop and soon issue specific action programs, contributing to the effective implementation of the set goals, targets and tasks.

The Congress announced the decision of the Provincial Party Standing Committee to appoint the Executive Committee of the Hoi Son Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 23 comrades; Comrade Vo Trong Nhan was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Commune Party Committee.
