The Prime Minister requested to continue listening, absorbing, perfecting and asking for the Politburo's opinions to soon promulgate regimes and policies for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in the process of restructuring and organizing the apparatus.
On the morning of December 29, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Head of the Government's Steering Committee summarizing the implementation of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW "A number of issues on continuing to innovate and reorganize the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined and operate effectively and efficiently" chaired the sixth meeting of the Steering Committee.
At the request of the Central Steering Committee on the reorganization of the political system, the Government Party Committee shall complete and send the Summary Report on the implementation of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW to the Central Steering Committee before December 31, 2024.

To meet the deadline of the Central Steering Committee, at the 6th Session, the Steering Committee discussed and gave opinions on the draft Summary Report, focusing on the completion of the activities of the State Capital Management Committee at enterprises; on the organizational arrangement targets within ministries, ministerial-level agencies, and government agencies; on the time to submit to the Government the draft Decree on the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of ministries and ministerial-level agencies that do not carry out mergers and acquisitions.
In his concluding remarks, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh commended the efforts of the members of the Steering Committee, especially the Ministry of Home Affairs - the standing agency of the Steering Committee, in performing their tasks.
Basically agreeing with the draft report, the Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Home Affairs to receive comments to continue perfecting the draft and continue to listen to and receive valid comments from relevant agencies and individuals.
With the goal of organizing a "Refined - Lean - Strong - Effective - Efficient - Effective" apparatus, along with giving opinions on a number of specific contents, the Prime Minister requested to continue to thoroughly review on the political, legal and practical basis, ensuring no omissions, no overlap and better completion of the functions and tasks of the agencies.
