North Korea to discuss constitutional amendments

The Supreme People's Assembly of North Korea ( Parliament of North Korea) is scheduled to hold the 11th session of the 14th National Assembly on October 7 in the capital Pyongyang.

This session will focus on amending the Constitution and related issues such as the Law on Light Industry and the Law on Foreign Economic Affairs. In addition, the supervision of the implementation of the Product Quality Control Law will also be on the agenda.

In January, leader Kim Jong-un called for a constitutional amendment that would address relations with South Korea and the possibility of reunification of the two Koreas.
