The contest to learn about the life and career of the famous person Nguyen Cong Tru was launched by the Department of Education and Training of Nghi Xuan district and organized for all cadres, teachers and students in the area from September 15, 2023. To participate in the contest, candidates must research and answer the content of 2 questions given by the Organizing Committee in handwritten form.

The contest aims to affirm the merits, talents and honor the great contributions of the famous person Nguyen Cong Tru to his homeland and country; at the same time, to propagate and educate the tradition of patriotism, love for the homeland, and national pride for cadres, teachers, employees and students of schools. After more than 2 months of implementation, the Organizing Committee of the contest received nearly 12,000 entries, including more than 1,500 entries from teachers and nearly 10,500 entries from students. This shows that the contest has a wide influence in schools across the district.
