Ho Chi Minh City puts 1 case and 3 incidents under monitoring and direction

On June 6, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Negative Practices (Steering Committee) held a regular meeting for May. Comrade Nguyen Van Nen, Politburo member, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, Head of the Steering Committee, chaired the meeting.

Also attending were comrades: Tran Hoang Kiem, Acting Director of Department of Locality 3, Central Internal Affairs Committee ; Le Thanh Liem, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the Internal Affairs Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee; Nguyen Phuoc Loc, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the Organization Committee of the City Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee; comrades of the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee, members of the Steering Committee and the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee.

After listening to the report presented by the City Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee (Standing Body of the Steering Committee) and the opinions of the meeting members, the Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee assessed the results achieved since the 3rd meeting (April 13) of the Steering Committee and concluded and directed a number of important contents.

Comrade Nguyen Van Nen assigned the members of the Steering Committee and the Standing Office of the Steering Committee to urgently continue to organize and strictly implement the Conclusion of the General Secretary , Head of the Central Steering Committee on preventing and combating corruption and negativity at the Standing Committee meeting of the Steering Committee on May 10.

At the same time, focus on directing the acceleration of progress and results of investigations and handling of cases and incidents under the supervision and direction of the Steering Committee; summarize the results of 1 year of operation of the Steering Committee since its establishment up to now according to the requirements of the Central Steering Committee on preventing and combating corruption and negativity.

The Standing Committee of the Steering Committee also agreed to monitor and direct 1 case and 3 incidents. The Standing Committee of the Steering Committee also assigned the Standing Agency to urgently complete the Project "Some solutions to prevent violations of corruption, negativity, and waste in the political system and state-owned enterprises".

At the same time, continue to review and advise on the effective implementation of the directions and tasks in the coming time of the Steering Committee and the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee, ensuring the requirements and progress are met.
