On the afternoon of June 23, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City announced the benchmark scores for specialized and integrated grade 10 for the 2023-2024 school year.

Accordingly, Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted has an integrated benchmark of 34.75 points for NV1 and 35 points for NV2. In the 2022-2023 school year, the integrated benchmark for grade 10 of this school is 34.5 points for wish (NV) 1 and 35 points for NV2.

Next, Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted has an integrated grade 10 benchmark of 34.5 points for NV1 and 35 points for NV2. In the 2022-2023 school year, the integrated benchmark of this school is 34.25 points for NV1 and 34.5 points for NV2.

For specialized grade 10 admission, the specialized subject leading the admission standard score of Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted is Biology with 38.75 points in NV1 and 39 points in NV2.

For Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted, Biology still leads the 10th grade specialized standard score with 37.25 points in NV1 and 37.5 points in NV2.

In addition, the 2023-2024 school year is the last year that Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted and Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted will enroll non-specialized grade 10 students. This year, the NV1 and NV2 benchmark scores for non-specialized classes at Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted are 26.75 points and 27.25 points, respectively.

Similarly, Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted has a benchmark score of 26.5 points for NV1 and 26.75 points for NV2 non-specialized class.

This year, the whole city has 7,039 candidates registered for the 10th grade specialized exam.

Meanwhile, Ho Chi Minh City has more than 1,600 enrollment quotas for specialized 10th graders in 6 high schools including: Le Hong Phong Specialized High School (District 5), Tran Dai Nghia Specialized High School (District 1), Gia Dinh High School (Binh Thanh District), Nguyen Thuong Hien High School (Tan Binh District), Nguyen Huu Huan High School (Thu Duc City) and Mac Dinh Chi High School (District 6).
