In recent times, Ha Tinh City has implemented many solutions to promote land auctions, increase budget revenue, create resources for infrastructure investment, and change the urban appearance in a synchronous and modern direction.

In 2023, Ha Tinh City was assigned by the Provincial People's Council a target of collecting VND 460 billion from land use fees to the State budget (VND 680 billion was assigned by the City People's Council). In the context of the frozen real estate market, from the beginning of the year, the People's Committee of Ha Tinh City has implemented many solutions to increase land auctions to effectively increase budget revenue. Thereby, creating resources for infrastructure investment, changing the urban appearance in a synchronous and modern direction.

The key solution implemented by the local government is to focus on reviewing land sources with available infrastructure from 2022 for auction. Through the review, the whole city has about 50 land lots belonging to: Southern area of ​​Nguyen Du ward, infrastructure area 4-7 of Ha Huy Tap ward and some other areas.

To make the auction effective, the locality has signed contracts with reputable auction companies; implemented reasonable and widespread advertising plans... Thanks to that, in the first 5 months of the year, Ha Tinh City has collected more than 100 billion VND from land use fees.

The auction of Bau Ra residential area, Ha Huy Tap ward at the end of July 2023 attracted many people to participate.

With a price close to the market, being advertised reasonably and widely, the auction of Bau Ra residential area (Ha Huy Tap ward) attracted many people who wanted to buy residential land to participate. The successful auction helped Ha Huy Tap ward pay 57 billion VND to the budget, completing the budget revenue target from land use fees in 2023.

Mr. Nguyen Van Huyen - Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Huy Tap Ward said: "Up to this point, the ward has collected nearly 270 billion VND in budget revenue from land auctions (including land lots in Bau Ra residential area, infrastructure area 4-7 that have been successfully auctioned but have not yet been paid to the State budget), exceeding nearly 30% of the assigned target. Land auctions in the area have been successfully implemented thanks to specific solutions, starting prices close to market prices".

Construction of infrastructure for Tay Tan Hoc residential area, Thach Ha commune

Along with promoting land auctions, in the first months of the year, the city also resolutely directed the completion of infrastructure in key residential areas in Ha Huy Tap, Thach Quy, Nguyen Du, Thach Linh wards, Thach Ha commune... Up to this point, the city has completed the infrastructure of 274 plots of land in these areas.

At this time, the People's Committee of Ha Tinh City is directing localities and units to focus on completing infrastructure in planned areas; promoting auctions to increase budget revenue. It is expected that in early September, Ha Tinh City will auction 109 land lots in the following areas: Thuy Hoi village, Thach Hung commune; Residential group 6, Nguyen Du ward; Dong Coc Lim, Thach Trung commune; Tay Tan Hoc, Thach Ha commune; Tan Phu village, Thach Trung commune to collect about 150 billion VND for the budget.

Ha Tinh City publicly lists land auctions in residential areas

“With the implementation of synchronous and drastic solutions, Ha Tinh City has now collected 249 billion VND from land use fees. If we include the land lots that have been successfully auctioned and are waiting for payment, Ha Tinh City has basically completed the target of collecting land use fees assigned by the Provincial People's Council.

In the last months of the year, Ha Tinh City strives to exceed the target of collecting 680 billion VND from land use fees assigned by the City People's Council to have more resources to invest in infrastructure, changing the urban appearance in a synchronous and modern direction," said Mr. Nguyen Duc Cong - Deputy Head of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Ha Tinh City.
