The “Red Sunday” program is an activity with profound humanitarian significance, taking place widely and attracting a large number of people, especially the young generation, to participate, making an important contribution to serving the rescue and treatment of patients in hospitals across the country. Since then, many patients, comrades, and teammates have been saved by the precious blood source from this voluntary blood donation activity.

Speaking at the program, Colonel Nguyen Quoc Khanh, Deputy Director of Military Hospital 354, said that implementing the Directive of the Ministry of National Defense and responding to the voluntary blood donation campaign in military units in general and Military Hospital 354 in particular, over the years, the Party Committee and Board of Directors of the Hospital have always paid attention to and directed agencies in the Hospital to do a good job of propaganda and education to cadres, employees, soldiers and workers about the noble meaning of voluntary blood donation, with the message "A drop of blood given, a life left", "Donating blood to save people - Your life and mine".

With that spirit, the “Red Sunday” program received the active participation of many cadres, youth union members of Military Hospital 354 and the youth union of Vinh Phuc ward. In just the morning, the Organizing Committee collected 432 units of safe blood.
