On October 9, the Office of the Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee said it had received a document requesting permission to study projects in the area from FLC Group Joint Stock Company. The document was signed by General Director Le Tien Dung and sent to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee.

On the basis of Quang Tri's master plan for the construction of the coastal area of ​​Quang Tri province until 2045, with the desire to contribute to the development of tourism economy for the province, FLC proposed to study the idea of ​​planning and investing in a complex of golf courses, conference centers, resort tourism, resort villas and high-class entertainment with a scale of about 700 hectares.

This complex has main items such as a 36-hole golf course according to international standards, a conference center, luxury resort villas... with a total investment of about 20,000 billion VND in Trung Giang commune, Gio Linh district.

The unit commits to closely coordinate with agencies and departments to deploy scientific, methodical and effective research and planning.

"We will invest quickly and complete the project according to the set goals and schedule. We will use the best resources to invest and create a complex of golf courses, conference centers, resort services, resort villas and high-class entertainment areas to contribute to the overall development of the province," the proposal signed by Mr. Dung clearly stated.

According to the procedure, Quang Tri province will send relevant departments for consultation before responding to investors.

Previously, FLC Group also implemented 2 new urban area plans and sports service areas in Gio Linh district.

In 2018, Quang Tri province approved the FAM - Quang Tri high-tech agricultural zone project with FLC as the investor. To date, the project is more than 5 years behind schedule compared to the first approval.

In the document sent to Quang Tri province, this unit introduced itself as a private economic group established in 2011, operating in multiple business sectors, in which the core area is investing in developing real estate projects, resort tourism and international-class golf courses.
