Increase retirement age for police officers

Accordingly, Decree 57 adds the maximum service age limit for female police officers with the rank of lieutenant colonel and colonel; and male police officers with the rank of colonel and general.

From August 15 to December 31, the maximum service age for female police officers with the rank of lieutenant colonel is 56 years old.

From January 1, 2024, each year will increase by 4 months until reaching 58 years of age in 2029, determined according to the following roadmap:

From January 1, 2024, each year will increase by 3 months for men until reaching 62 years of age in 2028 and each year will increase by 4 months for women until reaching 60 years of age in 2035, determined according to the following roadmap:
