Responding to the campaign "all people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho", the 2023 National High School Sports Tournament is an opportunity for students to practice and compete in sports to improve their health, contributing to comprehensive education for students.

This year, the tournament organized 7 competitions including: football, swimming, basketball, chess, badminton, athletics and vovinam for students studying at educational institutions at 3 levels: Primary, Secondary and High School.

Swimming and Vovinam are the first two events to take place from May 20-26 in Dong Thap province, attracting the participation of more than 1,200 student athletes, union officials and coaches from 34 provinces and cities nationwide. Nestlé MILO brand is the main sponsor of the tournament.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh De, Director of the Department of Physical Education, Ministry of Education and Training said: "School sports are always a playground to help students improve their physical health and build a strong will. The return of large-scale summer tournaments has attracted the participation of many excellent athletes and sports delegations from many localities, contributing to promoting the movement of practicing and competing in swimming and Vovinam across the country."
