From 1:00 p.m. on September 12, Saigon Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SCB) applies a Napas 247 fast money transfer transaction limit for individual customers with a maximum of VND 10 million/time/day/customer.

This regulation applies to customers transferring money at transaction counters and on SCB eBanking channel.

Accordingly, SCB customers can only make Napas 247 fast money transfer transactions of up to 10 million VND/transaction. In case of transferring money multiple times in a day, the total amount after multiple transfers in a day cannot exceed 10 million VND.

Previously, from August 23, SCB adjusted the Napas 247 fast money transfer transaction limit for individual customers from a maximum of VND 100 million to VND 50 million/time/day.

Meanwhile, according to current regulations of the State Bank, Napas 247 express transfer service allows customers to transfer money with a maximum limit of less than 500 million VND/transaction.

Currently, most banks are applying a maximum transaction limit for Napas 247 fast money transfer of 499 million VND on digital banking channels. The scope of application includes fast money transfer via account and fast money transfer via card.

Along with the announcement of lowering the money transfer limit, SCB has also just announced information about terminating the operations of 4 transaction offices in Ho Chi Minh City from October 14, including: District 4 Transaction Office - 20/10 Branch, Ten Lua Transaction Office - Cho Lon Branch, District 8 Transaction Office - Cho Lon Branch, and Kinh Duong Vuong Transaction Office - Cho Lon Branch.

With the recent termination of operations of 4 transaction offices, 96 SCB transaction offices nationwide have been dissolved after the Van Thinh Phat "big case" occurred.
