BTO-On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024), on the morning of April 26, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Hai visited soldiers and families with relatives who directly participated in the Dien Bien Phu campaign living in Tanh Linh district.
Also attending were representatives of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, the Provincial Military Command, the Provincial Veterans Association and the People's Committee of Tanh Linh district.
The delegation visited and talked with Dien Bien soldier Nguyen Quang Huy (Lac Tanh neighborhood) and visited his family, burned incense to commemorate the contributions of soldiers Nguyen Hong Hao, Dao Dinh Loc, Ho Van Cau, Vo Van Van (Mang To commune).
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Hai expressed his respect and deep gratitude for the great contributions of the Dien Bien soldiers who did not spare their blood and bones, contributing to the Dien Bien Phu victory "famous in five continents, shaking the earth".
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also wished the families of Dien Bien soldiers to continue to promote the revolutionary tradition, and for their descendants to follow the example of working and studying well, contributing to the cause of building and developing their homeland to become more and more prosperous and civilized. At the same time, he requested that local Party committees and authorities continue to pay attention and do a good job of "Repaying gratitude" to families of policy beneficiaries and people with revolutionary contributions, including families of soldiers participating in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign.
