With more than 37 years of experience in the field of finance - banking - securities, Mr. Pham Phu Khoi is expected to lead LPBS to develop strongly, expand the market and improve competitiveness. According to information from LPBS, on September 26, 2024, the Company convened an extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders to approve a number of important decisions related to senior personnel work. With the consensus of 100% of LPBS shareholders, the General Meeting unanimously elected Mr. Pham Phu Khoi as a member of the LPBS Board of Directors. At the same time, immediately after the General Meeting, the LPBS Board of Directors met and unanimously elected Mr. Pham Phu Khoi as Chairman of the Board of Directors from September 26, 2024.

With extensive experience and expertise in finance, banking and securities, the new Chairman of the Board of Directors is expected to lead LPBS to realize the plans of the General Meeting of Shareholders. Specifically, he will play an important role in implementing innovative financial solutions, developing a diverse portfolio of securities products, and building and strengthening strategic partnerships, aiming not only to expand market share but also to enhance LPBS's competitive position in the Vietnamese and international stock markets. Mr. Pham Phu Khoi is a prominent and influential figure in the financial sector in Vietnam with more than 37 years of experience. Born in 1963, he graduated from Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, USA with a Master of Business Administration in Finance. Before that, Mr. Khoi studied for a Master of Aviation Economics at Riga Civil Aviation University, Latvia (former Soviet Union). In addition, Mr. Khoi completed the International Executive course at INSEAD Business School, Fontainebleau, France. He has many years of experience holding senior leadership positions at large domestic and international financial and banking institutions. He was Deputy CEO, Director of Financial Markets, Director of Asset and Liability Management Center at VPBank, Chairman of VPBank Securities Company (VPBS); General Director - ACB Securities Company (ACBS); CEO - Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Singapore; Director of Emerging Market Credit Business Area, Director of Vietnam - Standard Chartered Bank, Singapore; Manager of Asian corporate bond portfolio at Barclays Capital Asia - Hong Kong; Director of Northeast Asia - Vietnam Airlines Corporation (Vietnam Airlines)... Mr. Khoi is currently the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Investment Credit Rating Joint Stock Company (VIS Rating); Vice Chairman of Vietnam Bond Market Association, Lecturer of VBMA training courses. Another content also approved by the LPBS Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders is to dismiss Mr. Le Minh Tam and Mr. Nguyen Huy Du from the position of Board members according to their personal wishes. Thus, up to now, the Company's Board of Directors has 6 members. In early 2024, LPBS successfully raised capital to VND 3,888 billion and expanded securities brokerage activities, provided margin trading services, advanced capital for customers, as well as promoted proprietary investment in financial products.
