Female worker died in tea rolling machine

On the afternoon of July 10, a representative of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Lac Thuy district, Hoa Binh province, said that a work accident had just occurred in the area, causing the death of a female worker.

The accident occurred at around 5:30 a.m. the same day, at the tea processing factory of Song Boi Thang Long Two-Member LLC (Phu Nghia commune).

At that time, Ms. QTL (born in 1977, residing in Thong Nhat commune, Lac Thuy district), was operating a tea rolling machine when she was suddenly pulled into the machine and died on the spot. At around 6:00 a.m., workers who came to work discovered the incident and reported it to the company's leadership.

Upon receiving the news, representatives of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Lac Thuy district went to the scene to grasp the situation and advise the district People's Committee to promptly support the victim's family with 18 million VND.

The cause of the incident is under investigation.
