Taking farmers as the center, businesses and partners have built a closed potato production model from: Soil care - seeds - Seed treatment - Plant protection drugs - Fertilizer - Irrigation - Cultivation techniques - Output guarantee - Product processing using renewable energy.
Thanks to the application of technology, the average yield of harvested potatoes is 23-26 tons/ha, 3 times higher than traditional farming, even the highest place reaches 52 tons/ha. Each year, more than 5 million cubic meters of water are saved; farmers' income increases nearly 3 times.
In addition, each year, the project conducts training on safe production for nearly 6,000 farmers, the area of potato cultivation increases by an average of 20% per year, the number of farming households participating in the program increases by 10% per year. The capacity and role of women and ethnic minority farmers in the model have also been significantly enhanced.
