1. Fireworks display locations for Lunar New Year 2024 in Hanoi

On New Year's Eve of the Year of the Dragon 2024, Hanoi City will organize fireworks displays in 30 districts and counties on New Year's Eve with 32 locations. Each district will display fireworks at one location, with Hoan Kiem District having 2 locations; there will be 9 locations for high-altitude fireworks with 600 fireworks/location and 22 locations for low-altitude fireworks.

"Currently, we are preparing forces and means to protect the fireworks display location and ensure safety for people enjoying the spring festival" - a representative of the Capital Command informed.

Locations for high-altitude fireworks combined with low-altitude fireworks include:

Battlefield No. 1: Hoan Kiem District (in front of the Hanoi Moi Newspaper headquarters).

Battlefield 2: Hoan Kiem District (in front of Hanoi Post Office).

Battlefield No. 3: Tay Ho District (at Lac Long Quan Flower Garden, in front of the District People's Committee gate).

Battlefield No. 4: Nam Tu Liem District (at the F1 racetrack, Phu Do ward).

Battlefield No. 5: Hai Ba Trung District (Coconut Island, Thong Nhat Park, Le Dai Hanh Ward).

Battlefield No. 6: Ha Dong District (Van Quan Lake, Van Quan Ward).

Battlefield No. 7: Son Tay Town (Son Tay Citadel)

Ho Chi Minh City will set off fireworks on New Year's Eve 2024 at 8 locations, including 2 high-altitude locations at the beginning of the Saigon River tunnel (Thu Duc City) and Ben Duoc Martyrs Memorial Area (Cu Chi District).

The information was announced by a representative of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports at a press conference on the socio-economic situation of Ho Chi Minh City on the afternoon of January 25.

Ho Chi Minh City will set off fireworks on New Year's Eve 2024 at 8 locations.

Accordingly, the 2 high-altitude shooting points include:

- At the beginning of the Saigon River tunnel (Thu Duc City)

- Ben Duoc Martyrs Memorial (Cu Chi district).

6 low-altitude fireworks displays are held:

- Ben Noc relic memorial temple (Thu Duc city)

- Dam Sen Park (District 11)

- Sac Forest Square (Can Gio district)

- Lang Le Bau Co relic site (Binh Chanh district)

- Cultural Park (Go Vap district)

- Nga Ba Giong historical site (Hoc Mon district).

Fireworks will be launched for 15 minutes from 0:00 to 0:15 on February 10 (the first day of the Lunar New Year), funded by socialized sources.
