Russian soldiers in Ukraine battlefield use FPV UAV to "chase chickens"

Báo Dân tríBáo Dân trí15/03/2025

(Dan Tri) - Unable to detect the Ukrainian target and unable to recover the FPV drone, Russian soldiers literally used it to "chase chickens".

In the Ukrainian battlefield, FPV unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) from both sides are making waves, causing a lot of human and vehicle losses.

The number of FPV UAVs is so large that soldiers in the field say they fly like "flies" and attack individual soldiers instead of waiting for the enemy to "gather in groups of three or five" to attack.

An unbelievable but true story happened on the battlefield of Ukraine. It was a Russian UAV operator who literally "chased chickens" with his FPV.

Russian soldiers use UAV to chase chickens (Video: Telegram).

Accordingly, after taking off due to not being able to detect enemy targets, while letting the FPV wander, this Russian "pilot" accidentally flew over a farm and decided to "chase chickens".

Surely someone will ask why not fly the FPV back to the starting point to retrieve it and reuse it for the next time. The answer is no, because doing so would be like attacking yourself.

Some people also say that UAV operators are too idle. But in reality, this action is more or less effective.

Because "chasing chickens" is not easy because they are very small in size, run zigzag, and are very difficult to hit, this will be a useful training exercise for future operations with real targets such as people or enemy combat vehicles.
