Forestry leaders in Quang Binh reported the theft of hundreds of millions of dong.

On June 26, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Vuong, Director of Kien Giang Forestry Branch (Kim Thuy Commune, Le Thuy District, Quang Binh ) said that the unit had just been broken into by thieves, who stole hundreds of millions of dong.

Accordingly, the incident occurred around the morning of June 25. The thief broke into the headquarters of Kien Giang Forestry Branch, broke open the doors of the treasury room and accounting room, and then took the safe out.

According to the report, the money lost is estimated at about 400 - 500 million VND (not yet counted) contained inside the safe that was broken and taken by the thief. According to Mr. Vuong, this amount of money used for production and business of Kien Giang Forestry Branch was just collected on June 23.

Kien Giang Forestry Branch belongs to Long Dai LCN Company Limited. On the morning of the theft, the unit arranged 3 security guards on duty but did not detect the incident.

Kien Giang Forestry Branch has reported to local authorities and coordinated with the police to investigate and clarify the incident.
