With a total investment of VND 5,130 billion, the capacity is 300,000m3/day and night for both components, including Hoa Binh component and Hanoi component. In which, phase 1 of the Xuan Mai - Hoa Binh Water Supply System Construction Investment Project is implemented according to the roadmap: From 2024 to 2026, phase 1A will be completed to operate and supply water at 150,000m3/day and night, and by 2030, phase 1B will be completed to increase the capacity to 300,000m3/day and night.

According to the plan, phase 1 of the Project will exploit raw water from the Da River to treat and provide clean water, inter-regional, inter-provincial, and long-term stable for Hoa Binh province, Hanoi Capital and neighboring areas.

The project includes the following items: Water pumping station, area 2.7ha, 2 raw water pipelines, each 8km long and 2 clean water pipelines, each 20km long, along National Highway 6 in Hoa Binh city and Luong Son district, Hoa Binh province to Hanoi city.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoa Binh Province Quach Tat Liem assessed that the Xuan Mai - Hoa Binh Water Supply System is a large-scale, inter-regional, inter-provincial clean water supply project with the strategic goal of building a sustainable clean water supply system, capable of providing and meeting the stable and long-term clean water needs of Hoa Binh Province, Hanoi Capital and neighboring areas. Thereby, helping to enhance water supply safety, contributing to thoroughly solving the clean water needs of the people, as well as accelerating the urbanization of key economic regions.

The Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoa Binh province requested the Investor to focus maximum resources, closely coordinate with departments, branches and localities to complete the project to ensure progress and quality of the project; promptly report to functional units any difficulties and problems during the implementation process.

At the same time, request relevant departments, branches, sectors and localities to coordinate and support investors to implement the project in accordance with regulations; continue to hand over the remaining land to implement the project on schedule; have timely plans to receive and effectively exploit clean water sources from the Xuan Mai - Hoa Binh Water Supply System...
