Tuition fees for public schools in Ho Chi Minh City, Law major leads

Compared to the previous school year, this year, the tuition fees announced at public universities have increased by about 10% for some majors. The tuition fees are collected depending on the training program.

The highest tuition fee belongs to Ho Chi Minh City University of Law in the high-quality program, taught in English, at about 181.5 million VND/year.

Next is the high-quality program in Law Administration with 83.66 million VND/school year; the high-quality program in Law and Business Administration is 70.5 million VND/school year.

The lowest tuition fee for the regular training program in Law, International Trade, and Business Administration is about 35.25 million VND/year, an increase of 4 million VND compared to the previous school year.

For the medical sector, Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy has the highest tuition fees, ranging from 46 - 84.7 million VND/school year.

Of which, the Dentistry - Maxillofacial Surgery major has the highest income, with 84.7 million VND/year, the Medicine major has 82.2 million VND/year; the Pharmacy major has 60.5 million VND/year; the Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Traditional Medicine, Preventive Medicine majors have 50 million VND/year; the remaining majors have 46 million VND/year.

The above tuition fees for many majors have increased by 10% compared to the previous school year for university students entering in 2023 (41.8 - 74.8 million VND/year).

Next, the University of Health Sciences (Faculty of Medicine) - Ho Chi Minh City National University, tuition fees range from 47.2 - 62.2 million VND/year.

In which, tuition fees for majors: General Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Traditional Medicine is 62.2 million/year; Nursing is 47.2 million/year.

Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine has tuition fees ranging from 41.8 - 55.2 million VND/academic year (10 months). Of which, the highest tuition fee is 55.2 million VND for Medicine, Pharmacy, and Dentistry, which is the same as last year.

The majors of Nursing, Medical Laboratory Technology, Medical Imaging Technology, Rehabilitation Technology, Ophthalmology Refractive Surgery, and Public Health Nutrition are 41.8 million VND, an increase of about 10 million VND compared to last year.

At the University of Technology - Ho Chi Minh City National University, tuition fees for the Japanese Orientation program; Advanced program; and English Teaching and Learning program are about 60 - 80 million VND/year.

For the International Transfer Program (Japan), tuition is about 30 million VND/semester for the first 2.5 years, studying at Ly Thuong Kiet Campus. The last 2 years are transferred to a Japanese partner university, the language of instruction is Japanese, tuition is about 91 million VND/year.

International Transfer Program (Australia, New Zealand), tuition fee is about 40 million VND/semester for the first 2.5 years, studying at Ly Thuong Kiet Campus. Last 2-2.5 years - transfer to Australian/New Zealand partner university, tuition fee according to the partner school's collection rate.

University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Ho Chi Minh City National University), tuition fees for majors in the high-quality training program are about 60 million VND/academic year, including majors: International Relations, Journalism, English Language, Chinese Language, Japanese Studies, German Language, Tourism and Travel Services Management.

University of Economics and Law (Ho Chi Minh City National University), tuition fee for English program is about 57.6 million VND per year.

International University (Ho Chi Minh City National University) collects tuition fees based on credits. The tuition for degree programs is about 50 million VND per year. For joint programs, the first 2 years in Vietnam are about 63 - 67 million VND per year.

In addition, at some other universities, the training programs under high-quality programs and English programs also have tuition fees of about 60-70 million VND/year.

Tuition fees for standard and mass programs range from about 25 - 40 million VND/year.
