On the afternoon of November 23, the Executive Committee of the 17th Hanoi Party Committee held its 14th conference. Chairing the conference were Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Dinh Tien Dung; Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Thi Tuyen; Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh; Chairman of the Hanoi People's Council Nguyen Ngoc Tuan and Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong.

At the conference, Chairman of the Hanoi Party Committee's Inspection Committee Hoang Trong Quyet presented a report on the issuance of the inspection and supervision plan for 2024 of the Hanoi Party Committee Executive Committee.

Accordingly, based on the regulations of the Central Committee and working regulations and related documents, the Hanoi Party Committee will synchronously perform two tasks of regular inspection and supervision and thematic inspection and supervision.

In particular, for thematic inspection and supervision, the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee submitted to the Hanoi Party Executive Committee to conduct 2 supervisions and 1 inspection.

Specifically, the first supervision will supervise the leadership, direction and organization of the implementation of Directive No. 13-CT/TU dated March 2, 2022 of the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee, focusing on the management and exploitation of minerals in Hanoi in conjunction with the content of improving the effectiveness and efficiency of management, use of resources and environmental protection of Program No. 05-CTr/TU dated March 17, 2021. The implementation period is the first quarter of 2024.

The subjects of supervision related to Directive No. 13-CT/TU are the 5 standing committees of district, county and city Party Committees; Party Committees, collective leadership of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment and Party members who are heads of Party organizations, localities and units being supervised.

The second supervision is to supervise the leadership, direction and organization of the implementation of Program No. 08-CTr/TU dated March 17, 2021 of the Hanoi Party Committee on "Developing the social security system, improving social welfare and quality of life of the capital's people in the period of 2021 - 2025". The implementation period is the first quarter of 2024. The subjects of supervision include 6 Party organizations and Party members who are heads of Party organizations, localities and units being supervised.

Notably, Mr. Quyet added that according to the inspection and supervision plan for 2024, the Hanoi Party Committee will also inspect the leadership, direction and organization of the implementation of Directive No. 24-CT/TU dated August 7 of the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee on strengthening discipline, discipline and responsibility in handling work in the political system of Hanoi City. The implementation time is the second quarter of 2024.

The inspection subjects in the 2024 inspection and supervision plan are 10 Party organizations, including a number of district, county, and town Party Committees; Party Committees, collective leadership of departments, branches, and Party members who are heads of Party organizations, localities, and units being inspected.

Mr. Hoang Trong Quyet added that based on the actual situation, the inspection and supervision plan of the Hanoi Party Committee can be supplemented and adjusted to suit the requirements and tasks of the Hanoi Party Committee in 2024.
