The organizers today, November 17, released the figures achieved from the 15th China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition, which took place for 6 days in Zhuhai city, Guangdong province.
About 285.6 billion yuan ($39.7 billion) worth of contracts were signed at the 15th China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition, which ended today, November 17. These contracts involved 1,195 aircraft of various models, Xinhua news agency reported, citing figures from the organizing committee.

The organizers added that 1,022 companies from 47 countries and regions participated in the event, with 261 aircraft and 248 types of equipment on display. In addition, 247 activities were held, including conferences, signing ceremonies and business negotiations.
Some of the highlights at the 15th China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition include the J-35A stealth fighter, the J-15T fighter jet and the HQ-19 surface-to-air missile system.

The J-35A is a variant of the J-35, a stealth aircraft that China is developing for use on aircraft carriers. Little is known about the J-35A's performance or capabilities, although it looks similar to the F-35 from US defense giant Lockheed Martin, according to Reuters.
Other highlights at the show include drones and drone ships, as well as flying cars and electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft.
The 15th China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition attracted nearly 590,000 spectators. In addition, about 4,500 reporters from more than 400 media organizations covered the event, according to Xinhua.
