The proposed plan's objectives include: Implementing and completing the objectives set by the OCOP Program by 2025 of the province and the Central Government; Organizing the assessment and classification of products registered to participate in the OCOP Program in the province, striving to have about 45 more products achieving 3 stars or more in 2025 and having at least 2 potential 5-star products registered to participate in the assessment and classification of national OCOP products in 2025.
The plan focuses on many contents. In particular, propaganda work, raising awareness of management staff participating in implementing the OCOP Program; especially the application of software for evaluating and classifying OCOP products at the provincial and district levels is of particular interest. Focus on training to improve the capacity of OCOP subjects on business planning, implementing business plans, value chains in the OCOP Program; innovating production organization forms, management skills; innovating and creating products; managing quality and food safety; increasing the use and exploitation of community brands of products from rural areas. Training production facilities to complete products; training sales skills for sales staff of economic organizations participating in the OCOP Program.
The development and upgrading of OCOP products is focused on through activities to support organizations and individuals in developing new products; implementing a number of models on preserving and promoting the role of craft villages and traditional craft villages associated with the development of OCOP products, community tourism services, and eco-tourism; supporting OCOP subjects in registering trademarks, exploiting and protecting intellectual property rights, in building the province's OCOP product profile to meet the criteria for participating in the assessment and classification of national OCOP products, meeting the requirements of the export market. Encouraging subjects to invest in deep processing.
In addition, the plan also focuses on the following contents: Evaluation and classification of OCOP products; Organizing trade promotion activities, boosting the consumption of OCOP products; Building a system to manage and monitor OCOP products, promoting the application of digital transformation in the OCOP Program; Inspection and supervision of subjects on management, maintenance and development of OCOP products...
The Department of Agriculture and Environment is assigned to preside over and coordinate with departments, branches, People's Committees of districts, cities, and related units to organize the implementation of the above plan.
