On the afternoon of November 9, a representative of the Director of the Institute of Geophysics said that at 4:18 p.m., a 3.3-magnitude earthquake occurred in Thanh Thuy area (Phu Tho).

According to the Institute of Geophysics, the location of the earthquake has coordinates (22.226 degrees North latitude, 105.344 degrees East longitude), the focal depth is about 15.6km.

"The Institute of Geophysics assessed the disaster risk level of this earthquake as level 0," said a representative of the Institute of Geophysics.

Due to the impact of the earthquake, people living in some places in Hanoi city clearly felt the shaking.

Mr. Nguyen Minh (in Ba Vi, Hanoi) said he felt shaking and then felt dizzy for 3-5 seconds, so he suspected an earthquake.

On social networks, many people also posted information about feeling the shaking phenomenon.

Currently, authorities are continuing to monitor and evaluate to make an official conclusion about this earthquake.
