At the Conference, Party Central Committee member, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee Nguyen Quang Duong announced Decision No. 1638/QDNSTU dated October 30, 2024 of the Politburo. According to the Decision, the Politburo transferred comrade Nguyen Thi Tuyen, Party Central Committee member, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee to cease participating in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, to cease holding the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term; transferred to work at the Central Office of the Vietnam Women's Union; appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Delegation of the Vietnam Women's Union for the 2022-2027 term.

Next, Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung, on behalf of the Politburo, presented the decision and flowers to congratulate comrade Nguyen Thi Tuyen.

Speaking at the conference, Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung said that recently, the Politburo has assigned comrade Ha Thi Nga to hold the position of Secretary of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee.

Based on the standards for cadre work, the Politburo decided to transfer comrade Nguyen Thi Tuyen, member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, to work at the Central Office of the Vietnam Women's Union, holding the position of Secretary of the Party Delegation of the Central Office of the Vietnam Women's Union.

Congratulating comrade Nguyen Thi Tuyen, Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung said that in her working positions, comrade Nguyen Thi Tuyen was assessed by the Politburo as a capable and courageous cadre, always completing well and excellently assigned tasks, making important contributions to the overall achievements and results of the agency and locality where she worked.

“We believe that Comrade Nguyen Thi Tuyen will quickly adapt to her new job, continue to promote her capacity, strengths and work experience, and together with the Party Delegation of the Vietnam Women's Union, effectively lead and organize the Union's activities, meeting the increasing demands in the new situation” - Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung emphasized.

At the same time, Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung also requested the Party Delegation, the Presidium, and the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union to strengthen solidarity, unity, sharing, support and assist comrade Nguyen Thi Tuyen in completing the tasks assigned by the Politburo. The immediate task is to urgently organize a meeting of the Executive Committee to elect the position of President of the Vietnam Women's Union.

To achieve the goal of national development and promote the strength of the entire nation, including the role of the Women's Union, the Politburo requested the Party Delegation of the Vietnam Women's Union to thoroughly grasp the Party's Resolutions, especially the direction of the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat and especially the guiding ideology in the recent speeches of General Secretary To Lam on strongly innovating the Party's leadership and governance methods, preventing corruption, waste and negativity; identifying important driving forces to bring the country into a new era, an era of growth.

Emphasizing that the Central Committee always pays special attention to training and fostering female cadres to develop on the basis of meeting standards and tasks, the Head of the Central Organizing Committee requested the Party Delegation of the Women's Union to do a good job of preparing and introducing personnel at all levels, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party.

Next, the 11th Conference of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, term XIII, term 2022-2027 elected comrade Nguyen Thi Tuyen to the Executive Committee, member of the Presidium of the Vietnam Women's Union, term XIII with 100% of votes.

Next, the Conference proceeded to elect the position of President of the Vietnam Women's Union. Comrade Nguyen Thi Tuyen was elected to hold the position of President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union with 100% of the votes.

Speaking at the ceremony, the new President of the Vietnam Women's Union Central Committee, Nguyen Thi Tuyen, respectfully thanked the Politburo and the Secretariat for their attention, trust, and assignment of tasks.

He also respectfully thanked the members of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union for their trust in electing and entrusting him with the responsibility of being the head of a socio-political organization in the political system - the Vietnam Women's Union, an organization representing the legitimate and legal rights and interests of women of all classes; striving for the development of women and gender equality.

To continue to inherit and promote the achievements and good values ​​that previous generations of leaders and cadres of the Union have worked hard to build, the new President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union Nguyen Thi Tuyen affirmed that she will make every effort, uphold the pioneering and exemplary spirit, uphold the Party's principles, and together with the collective leadership and cadres of the Women's Union at all levels, be determined to successfully implement the goals and targets of the Resolution of the 13th National Women's Congress; focus on synchronously implementing solutions to "Build Vietnamese Women of the new era", build an organization worthy of being the common home of its members, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress.

Expressing her sincere gratitude to the Standing Committee members, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and agencies and localities in Hanoi, Comrade Nguyen Thi Tuyen also expressed her hope to continue receiving the affection, attention and support of generations of leaders of the Vietnam Women's Union.
