According to the Department of Dyke Management and Natural Disaster Prevention and Control, currently, floods on Cau River (Bac Ninh Province), Thuong River (Bac Giang Province), Thai Binh River (Hai Duong City), and Red River (Hanoi City) are rising.

Floods on the Thao River in Yen Bai, Phu Tho and on the Lo River in Tuyen Quang, Vu Quang are receding; floods on the Hoang Long River (Ninh Binh Province) and on the Luc Nam River (Bac Giang Province) are changing slowly.

The water level at 7:00 a.m. on September 12 on the Red River in Hanoi was 11.20 m, 0.3 m below alert level 3; Thai Binh River at Pha Lai: 6.18 m, 0.18 m above alert level 3; Chay River at Thac Ba at 5:00 a.m. was 28.88 m, 6.88 m above alert level 3; Tra Ly River at Quyet Chien at 5:00 a.m. was 5.55 m, 1.65 m above alert level 3.

Meanwhile, the water level on Hoang Long River at Ben De at 6am was 4.61m, above warning level 3 was 0.61m; Duong River at Ben Ho at 6am was 8.25m, below warning level 3 was 0.15m; Day River at Phu Ly at 6am was 5.14m, above warning level 3 was 1.14m; Thao River in Lao Cai was 80.29m, above warning level 1 was 0.29m.

The water level of Cau River at Gia Bay at 6am was 25.08m, 0.08m above BĐ1; Thuong River at Phu Lang Thuong at 6am was 7.23m, 0.93m above BĐ3; Luc Nam River at Luc Nam at 6am was 6.33m, 0.03m above BĐ3; Lo River at Tuyen Quang was 24.91m, 0.91m above BĐ2.

It is forecasted that in the next 12 hours, the flood on the Red River in Hanoi will change slowly above level 2 and below level 3; on the Thai Binh River it will continue to rise above level 3; on the Hoang Long River it will change slowly above level 3.

Floods on Thao River in Yen Bai continue to drop to level 2; on Lo Tuyen Quang and Vu Quang Rivers drop below level 3; on Cau River continue to rise above level 3; on Thuong River slowly change to above level 3; on Luc Nam River slowly change to level 3.
