Tran Thanh Luc ended the match in the 16th round, with an overwhelming score over the world's number 1 player from the Netherlands, Dick Jaspers, with a final score of 50-32. The first semi-final match of the tournament took place earlier, with an overwhelming victory of Korean player Cho Myung Woo over Belgian player Eddy Merckx, with the final result being 50-35 after 24 rounds. The final match of the 76th World Individual 3-Cushion Carom Billiards Championship will take place at 5:00 p.m. this afternoon, September 29, between two young Korean players Cho Myung Woo and the host Vietnamese player Tran Thanh Luc in Phan Thiet City, Binh Thuan Province.
