The tech giant recently posted a blog post explaining why everyone needs artificial intelligence (AI) like Copilot. Although it still has many bugs, Microsoft has included Copilot in Windows 10 to increase its reach because many people use this operating system, according to Neowin.
Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella says Copilot will coordinate all apps
CEO Satya Nadella likens Copilot to the Start button in Windows, which coordinates all of a user's application experiences.
Sharing his experience, he said that he just needs to go to Copilot, express his intention and it will navigate him to an application or bring that application to Copilot, helping him learn, ask questions, create... Nadella further emphasized that it completely changes the user's habits, according to PC World .
It's clear that Microsoft sees Copilot as something that still has a lot of potential, similar to the revolutionary Start button on Windows before (most people were upset when the start button was no longer on Windows 8 and later).
At AMD’s Advancing AI event last week, during the launch of the new AMD 8040 series and the introduction of the upcoming 8050 series (which is geared up for AI-enabled Windows 12), corporate VP Pavan Davuluri reiterated and further explained Microsoft’s intention for how it sees Copilot as the gateway to harnessing the true power of AI on Windows.
Davuluri revealed that for the Microsoft team and the Microsoft ecosystem, Copilot is truly a special experience. Similar to the Start button being the gateway to Windows, Copilot for users is the entry point to the world of AI on the PC.
Rumor has it that the next generation of Windows will have something called “Enhanced Copilot,” which will likely improve on existing features.
