Agree to marry just because of a sentence

The sweet moments of the Vietnamese wife and Korean husband together attract many views on TikTok. The couple is Tran Khang Thuy (born 2000, Ho Chi Minh City) and Choi Sang Yong (born 1990, Korea). Although they are 10 years apart in age, in each photo taken together, there is almost no age gap.

The journey of the couple meeting, falling in love and getting married was wrapped up in 8 months. One fell in love at first sight, the other was moved by the other's sincerity, they came together as if by fate.

Chong Sang Yong has lived in Vietnam for 7 years. He works for a Korean food company in Ho Chi Minh City, while Khang Thuy is in real estate business.

In early 2022, they accidentally met each other in a coffee shop. Impressed by each other's appearance and positive energy, the couple exchanged phone numbers. Later, Sang Yong admitted that he fell in love with Khang Thuy at first sight.

“Even though we had just met and there was a language barrier, he had already imagined our future life together if we married. He even drew up a detailed plan. That surprised me because I had not thought of anything further at that time,” Thuy shared.

The Korean guy's sincerity surprised Thuy. He found excuses to meet her every day, picked her up from work, bought her food,... Khang Thuy admitted that she was touched and moved by the little things that the other person did for her.

When they officially became lovers, Thuy was respected by her boyfriend. He did not touch or do anything beyond the limit without permission. Sang Yong's decency and politeness scored absolute points with his girlfriend.

During a trip to Korea, Khang Thuy officially introduced herself to her boyfriend's family. The meeting went smoothly, and Sang Yong's parents took good care of her. They even said something that touched her: "If you become our daughter-in-law, whatever other families' daughters-in-law have, you will have it too."

At first, Thuy's parents did not object to the relationship, but they did not support it either. They were concerned that the age gap, cultural differences, and language differences would prevent the couple from being happy. However, they still respected their daughter's decision, especially after meeting her Korean son-in-law.

“The first time we met, he called my parents his wife's parents, which surprised the whole family. When we met, we saw that he was decent and sincere, so we felt secure to let him get to know us,” Thuy said.

After knowing each other for a few months, while talking about family planning, Choi Sang Yong said something that surprised Khang Thuy. "If we have to plan for children in the future, you don't have to do anything, I'll get a vasectomy."

Without having to propose with sweet, glossy words, just a simple sentence, Sang Yong made Khang Thuy feel secure to entrust his life to. Thuy herself also felt lucky to find a man who truly cared about her.

Happy to be respected by husband

At the end of 2022, the couple held a wedding in Vietnam and nearly a year later, the wedding was held in Korea.

In Vietnam, Khang Thuy's wedding was held according to traditional rituals. However, near the wedding day, her father-in-law unfortunately had an accident, and her mother-in-law had to stay to take care of him, so only her sister-in-law, relatives of the groom's family and friends of the groom attended.

“My in-laws made a short video apologizing to my family for not being able to attend the wedding. The video was shown during the main wedding ceremony and it moved me a lot,” Thuy said.

The couple currently lives and works in Ho Chi Minh City, Khang Thuy is very satisfied with this marriage. The cultural and language differences do not prevent them from building happiness. Both sides always try to listen and understand each other's needs.

Khang Thuy does not want to have children yet, Sang Yong does not force her. Her husband respects all her decisions. The couple travels together whenever they have free time, always making time to date every weekend.

Every day, they cook together, do housework, and enjoy sweet moments together.

“Once when I was on my period, I accidentally got my skirt dirty, and he didn’t hesitate to wash it for me. Even when we had a conflict, he didn’t raise his voice but gently explained it to me.

I have many shortcomings but he never brings them up to criticize me. He always speaks well of me to everyone, always feels very lucky to have me in his life. I know I'm not that good but to him, I'm always something very important," Thuy shared.

Another thing that made Khang Thuy grateful was that Sang Yong always cared about her parents and family members. Her mother had high blood pressure, every time he went out to eat, he always chose dishes that were good for people with this disease.

Not only is Khang Thuy a lucky wife, she also considers herself a lucky daughter-in-law. Every time she goes to Korea, her parents-in-law always schedule trips for her. Her mother-in-law often buys her gifts, takes her to beauty salons, and shops.

“One time, my husband’s parents came to Vietnam to visit. When they met the in-laws, they said: ‘You consider Thuy a princess, a precious thing, and so do we. We love her and have long considered her our own daughter.’

I am really grateful for this,” Khang Thuy confided.
