On the afternoon of May 16, directly present at the training ground, under the "skin-burning" summer sun, we clearly felt the confidence on the faces of the young soldiers of Regiment 165, Division 312 (Corps 1) when entering the "3-explosion" test practice. Each person was determined to achieve the highest results, contributing to the overall achievements of the entire Regiment, the unit ensuring absolute safety for people and weapons and equipment.
Entering the new soldier training season in 2023, Regiment 165 has done a good job in all preparations, focusing on training cadres, especially squad leaders, platoon leaders, company leaders, and those who directly train soldiers; focusing on applying initiatives to training work.
Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Minh Duc, Deputy Regiment Commander, Chief of Staff of Regiment 165, said that the unit focuses on basic, practical training, appropriately applying the viewpoints, principles, and combinations, and linking them with the unit's practices, helping soldiers quickly integrate, love the unit, and enthusiastically train. In particular, the Regiment thoroughly grasps the motto that the training process is a process of transferring experience; proactively grasps the training results to organize experience sharing; promptly commends groups and individuals who achieve high results in training.

On May 14, in Bac Son commune, Soc Son district, Hanoi , the youth of the 165th Regiment, 312th Division (1st Corps) participated in launching the "Military and people clean up the environment, implementing the movement of the whole people uniting to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas".
