On August 15, 2024, the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Record Association held a meeting in Hanoi. Attending were Dr. Thang Van Phuc - Chairman of the Association; Dr. Le Doan Hop - Chairman of the Council for Establishing the Vietnam Record Organization; Professor and Doctor Hoang Quang Thuan - Chairman of the Founding Council of the Vietnam Record Organization; and Vice Chairmen of the Association.

Before starting the meeting, delegates observed a minute of silence to commemorate Mr. Le Tran Truong An - Permanent Vice President of the Central Committee of the Association and General Director of the Vietnam Record Organization.

To ensure the operation of the Association and the Vietnam Record Organization during the second term until the third term Congress, the delegates unanimously elected Prof. Dr. Hoang Quang Thuan - Chairman of the Founding Council of the Vietnam Record Organization as the Permanent Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Record Association; World Record holder Nguyen Phung Phong - Chairman of the Vietnam Memory Organization, Deputy Director of the Vietnam Record Institute as Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Record Association.

Prof. Dr. Hoang Quang Thuan: Director of the Institute of Telecommunication Technology - Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, Chairman of the Founding Council of Vietnam Record Organization (VietKings), Permanent Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Record Association.

The meeting also agreed to review the activities of the Institutes under the Central Association as well as the activities of the Vietnam Record Organization in the new period.

On the same day, on behalf of the Executive Board of the Vietnam Record Holders Association, Dr. Thang Van Phuc - Chairman of the Association signed Resolution No. 151/QD-VRA on the appointment of Prof. Dr. Hoang Quang Thuan - Chairman of the Founding Council of the Vietnam Record Organization as Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Record Holders Association.

The meeting ended at 11:40 a.m. the same day.

On August 23, 2024, Dr. Thang Van Phuc signed Notice No. 09/TB-WRA to introduce the signature of Professor Hoang Quang Thuan - Permanent Vice President of Vietnam Record Holders Association so that agencies, units and individuals know, contact and coordinate work.
