On the morning of September 5, the Party Committee of the Ministry of Justice held a conference to announce the Politburo's decision to appoint Mr. Nguyen Hai Ninh, Minister of Justice, to the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Justice.

Expressing his honor at being trusted by the Politburo, Minister Nguyen Hai Ninh emphasized that being assigned to a new position and a new environment is both an honor and a challenge for him personally; especially in the context that agencies, ministries and branches of Justice are focusing on building a socialist rule-of-law state.

Mr. Ninh believes that with the tradition of solidarity and unanimity, the Party Executive Committee of the Ministry of Justice will continue to lead and direct the work of the Ministry and the Justice sector to achieve many new achievements.

On August 26, the National Assembly passed a resolution approving the appointment of Mr. Nguyen Hai Ninh (Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Secretary) as Minister of Justice with 426/426 National Assembly deputies present in favor (accounting for 88.57% of the total number of National Assembly deputies).

Mr. Nguyen Hai Ninh was born in 1976, from Hung Yen province; has a PhD in Law and a Bachelor of Administration. He is a member of the Party Central Committee, term XII (alternate), XIII.

The Ministry of Justice currently has Minister Nguyen Hai Ninh and 5 Deputy Ministers: Nguyen Khanh Ngoc, Dang Hoang Oanh, Nguyen Thanh Tinh, Tran Tien Dung and Mai Luong Khoi.
