At 7 p.m., the center of the tropical depression was at about 21.3 degrees North latitude; 112.4 degrees East longitude, in the sea south of Guangdong province (China). The strongest wind near the center of the tropical depression was level 6-7 (39-61 km/h), gusting to level 9, moving in the West Southwest direction at a speed of about 10 km/h.

It is forecasted that by 7:00 a.m. on October 10, the tropical depression will move southwest at a speed of about 15 km/h, weakening into a low pressure area over Hainan Island, with an intensity less than level 6.

In the next 12 hours, the northwest sea area of ​​the North East Sea will have strong winds of level 6-7, gusting to level 9; rough seas. In addition, due to the influence of strengthening cold air, from early morning on October 10, the sea area of ​​the Gulf of Tonkin will have strong northeast winds of level 6, gusting to level 8; rough seas.

In the North East Sea, waves are 1-2m high, and in the area near the center of the tropical depression, waves are 2-4m high. Since the morning of October 10, in the Gulf of Tonkin, waves are 2-3m high. All ships operating in these areas are affected by strong winds and large waves.
