Ensuring the meaningful and practical program to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Government's founding

The Government Office issued Notice No. 420/TB-VPCP dated August 12, 2025 concluding the Government Standing Committee's conclusions on preparations for organizing the program to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Government's founding.

Accordingly, the Government will organize a program to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Government's founding on August 20, 2025 at the National Convention Center, Hanoi .

To prepare a thoughtful, meaningful and practical Anniversary program, the Government Standing Committee requested the Minister of Home Affairs to direct the preparation of the Anniversary program script, send it to the Government Office before August 15, 2025; coordinate in providing information and historical documents for Vietnam Television to produce a documentary to be shown at the Anniversary program.

The Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism directs the preparation of a unique and appropriate art program to serve the Anniversary program (about 30 minutes); is responsible for directing the unique design and decoration of the celebration at the National Convention Center.

The General Director of Vietnam Television is responsible for presiding over and coordinating with the Ministry of Home Affairs, Vietnam News Agency, Voice of Vietnam and relevant agencies to produce a documentary film to be shown at the Anniversary program (about 30 minutes), and reporting to Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh for approval before August 15, 2025.

The Government Standing Committee requests ministries, ministerial-level agencies, and government agencies to actively and urgently coordinate according to their functions and tasks. The Government Office urges the progress of implementing the contents of the Anniversary program.

The Prime Minister assigned Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh to directly direct and inspect the preparation and implementation of the Celebration program./.
