Agribank has just introduced a new technology ATM that allows cash withdrawals using a chip-embedded citizen identification card (CCCD). Agribank is one of the first banks to deploy an ATM system capable of cash withdrawals using CCCD. Users with a bank account at Agribank, without a card or phone, can still withdraw cash from an ATM using a chip-embedded CCCD.

At the recent Banking Digital Transformation Event 2024 with the theme "Expanding connections and developing the digital ecosystem", banks and credit institutions brought to the event many modern technological solutions, serving the digital transformation process, towards sustainable banking development. Agribank commits to implementing digital transformation, green development, reaching out to connect, contributing to the implementation of the Digital Transformation Plan of the Banking Industry by 2025, with a vision to 2030.

Agribank was honored to introduce digital products and services to the leaders of the State Bank and a number of ministries and branches in the VIP tour program to visit the booth at the event. Agribank brought to the event 6 products corresponding to 6 digital banking solutions: Cash withdrawal transactions using chip-embedded ID cards; cash withdrawal using QR Code on ATMs without cards; Multi-channel digital banking services for corporate customers Agribank Corporate Ebanking; advanced Agribank Payment Hub payment axis; OPEN API service and Customer data collection, management, authentication and cleaning system at the counter to minimize risks and ensure the accuracy of transactions.

By authenticating customers based on data and information from the chip-embedded CCCD with the Ministry of Public Security, Agribank customers can confidently register and use digital services conveniently and safely.

Following the achievements, Agribank continues to develop and promote the application of the National Population Database in banking activities. Currently, the bank's digital banking product and service ecosystem has provided customers with full utilities such as opening accounts, registering for digital banking/e-banking services, registering for loan information or making online appointments,... quickly and effectively. By authenticating customers based on data and information from chip-embedded CCCD with the Ministry of Public Security, Agribank customers can rest assured to register and use digital services conveniently, safely and effectively without having to worry about the risks of forgery/appropriation of account usage rights for illegal acts in the digital space. A notable point in this event is that Agribank introduced a new technology ATM that allows cash withdrawal transactions using chip-embedded CCCD. Agribank is one of the first banks to deploy an ATM system capable of withdrawing money using CCCD. Users with a bank account at Agribank, without a card or phone, can still withdraw cash from an ATM using a chip-embedded CCCD. The device uses contact technology, placing the CCCD on the machine for a few seconds, the account information and card are ready to make transactions. Not having to insert the CCCD into the machine like a traditional ATM card also avoids the risk of having the card held, making it more convenient and flexible.
