Tripadvisor looked at more than 10.7 million traveler reviews of 100 popular attractions around the world to find the most disliked ones. Traveler complaints often included the phrase "long lines" or "long waits."

Topping the list was the Eiffel Tower, a symbol of Paris and France, with nearly 5,000 complaints of "long queues". Coming in second place were the London Eye in the UK and the Colosseum in Italy.

"The Eiffel Tower gets five stars, but one star is for the huge crowds and long lines," one traveler commented on Tripadvisor. Another suggested buying tickets online or booking a guided tour to enjoy the skip-the-line policy.

The London Eye has received similar comments. The popular British tourist attraction has 32 cabins with a capacity of 800 passengers at a time. However, the wait time for each passenger can still be up to nearly an hour with long, inching queues.

The next popular destinations on the undesirable list are Legoland Windsor Resort in England, Sagrada Familia in Spain, Empire State Building in the US. Alton Towers Resort in England ranked 7th, Siam Park Water Park in Spain ranked 8th. Disneyland Paris ranked 9th and Universal Studios Singapore rounded out the top 10.

Commenting on the Empire State, one visitor said the main drawback was the long lines. Visitors spent 15-20 minutes lining up on the street before waiting another 10-15 minutes to go through security and then the same amount of time to get into the elevators.
