From the 2024 - 2025 school year, tuition fees in Hau Giang will vary between levels of education and significantly between urban and rural areas.

Accordingly, in the next 2 school years, tuition fees in Hau Giang will vary between levels of education and significantly between urban and rural areas.

Specifically, in the new school year 2024 - 2025, the tuition fees in urban areas (including wards and towns in districts, towns and cities) are as follows: preschool (except for 5-year-old preschool children) 92,000 VND/student/month; primary and secondary schools are both 60,000 VND/student/month; continuing education at secondary and high schools are both 65,000 VND/student/month; continuing education at high schools is 80,000 VND/student/month.

For rural areas (including communes in districts, towns, and cities) and ethnic minority areas, the tuition fee for preschool is 35,000 VND/student/month; for primary and secondary schools, the same fee is 30,000 VND/student/month; for continuing education at secondary school, it is 50,000 VND/student/month; for high school, it is 35,000 VND/student/month; for continuing education at high school, it is 65,000 VND/student/month.

For the 2025-2026 school year, the above tuition fees will remain unchanged for all four levels: preschool, primary, high school, and continuing education at high school level. Only junior high school and continuing education at junior high school level will not collect tuition fees.

Hau Giang province also stipulates that for schools with branches and sub-campuses, tuition fees are determined at the students' study locations. In case of online learning, tuition fees are equal to 50% of the tuition fee. If in-person and online learning are organized in the month, the fee is collected according to the online learning fee.

For months with actual study time (including online study, make-up study at school - PV) less than the whole month, less than 15 days (including the number of days off according to regulations), collect half a month; 15 days or more, collect the full month.

Because primary school is exempt from tuition fees according to state regulations, the tuition fees for primary school students in the above regulations are the basis for the state to support tuition fees for students in private educational institutions in areas where there are not enough public schools.
