From early morning, fishing boats of Cam Xuyen fishermen arrived at Con Go fishing port (Cam Nhuong), bringing many valuable seafood. According to fishermen, the weather has been cold in recent days but sunny and the sea is calm, so they took advantage of the opportunity to go out to sea.

As soon as the boat was anchored, fishermen and traders quickly transported the still-flashing seafood to shore.

Having just returned from a night fishing trip, fisherman Hoang Ba Tuan in Xuan Bac village, Cam Nhuong commune happily said: "For the past 4 days, the weather has been stable, our boat has been going out to sea regularly. On average, each trip, my boat catches 10 kg of mackerel and 4 kg of shrimp, after deducting expenses, I earn from 3 to 6 million VND."

To get the freshest, highest quality seafood, traders must wake up early in the morning and catch the first boats.

The "still flashing" batches of fish reached the shore in the excitement of fishermen and traders.

All are purchased by traders right at Con Go fishing port, then brought to markets in the province to sell or imported to restaurants and hotels.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Lanh - a trader in Cam Nhuong commune said: "The weather has been stable these past few days, so fishermen have been going out to sea regularly, and the seafood supply has been more abundant. This morning, I imported nearly 6 million VND worth of goods to supply to regular customers. Hopefully, from now until the end of the year, the weather will be favorable so that people can catch many types of seafood."

It is known that the whole Cam Nhuong commune currently has nearly 250 boats of all kinds, of which nearly 180 are regularly fishing. Since the beginning of November, fishermen in the commune have caught about 80 tons of seafood of all kinds, bringing in a good income.

According to fishermen, the end of the year is the transition period between weather zones at sea, so exploitation is quite effective. In addition, at this time, seafood prices are quite high, thanks to which the income of the people is also better, each trip on average earns from 3 - 6 million VND with 2-3 crew members.

Seafood is easy to consume, so fishermen and traders are very excited.
