At the ceremony, the People's Committee of Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City awarded prizes to 522 excellent students of the 2023-2024 school year.

Of which, 13 students won prizes in international competitions; 5 excellent students at the national level; 245 excellent high school students; 222 excellent grade 9 students at the city level (including 06 first prizes, 72 second prizes and 144 third prizes);….

On this occasion, Thu Duc City People's Committee also honored and awarded 76 managers and teachers who have actively contributed to the training and fostering of excellent students.

Total reward budget is more than 525 million VND.

Mr. Nguyen Thai Vinh Nguyen, Head of the Department of Education and Training of Thu Duc City, said that to achieve the above results, the Department of Education and Training of Thu Duc City has directed schools to actively innovate management and teaching and learning methods.

In addition, during the teaching process, subject teachers always observe and evaluate using many solutions and methods to detect gifted students early.
