The Provincial Library was established by the Provincial Administrative Committee on April 15, 1955. Since its establishment, the Provincial Library has always closely followed the political, economic, cultural and social tasks of the province and the country, focusing on the task of selecting, supplementing and preserving books and newspapers to serve readers well. In 2017, the Provincial Library invested in developing an electronic library, a digital library with a system of modern electronic equipment, computers, projectors, automatic control equipment for books entering and leaving... With this project, the Provincial Library has now digitized all books and newspapers, and a repository of local documents into the database to serve readers' research through the library website. In 2019, the Provincial Library was sponsored a multimedia library car with 5,000 copies of books, laptops, servers, chairs... like a miniature library, well meeting the needs of readers in all localities. Since 2020, the Provincial Library has been invested in construction with functional reading rooms put into operation, and is one of the libraries with the most beautiful headquarters in the Northern region... Along with performing well on-site professional activities, in recent years, the Provincial Library has regularly paid attention to the grassroots. Every year, it organizes well multimedia library car trips to all schools; circulates documents to serve readers and develops reading culture through the library system in localities...
