On March 26, Can Tho City Youth Union held a meeting to celebrate the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2024). The meeting was held at the new headquarters of Can Tho City Youth Union, with the participation of nearly 240 delegates, including delegates who were former Youth Union officials through the periods.

"In particular, the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union this time is also associated with the 20th anniversary of Can Tho city being directly under the Central Government. Can Tho City Youth Union has a modern and spacious working headquarters.

From there, Can Tho City Youth Union also hopes that in the coming time, the uncles, aunts, brothers and sisters who are former Youth Union officials through the periods will continue to pay attention to education, orientation, and fostering the belief to inspire Can Tho's youth to overcome difficulties and rise up, creating a highly practical educational environment to orient the Youth Union officials in determining goals and ideals in life," said Ms. Ngoc Anh.

Mr. Nguyen Thuc Hien - Vice Chairman of Can Tho City People's Committee - acknowledged the contributions of Can Tho youth in movements such as Volunteer Youth, Creative Youth, and Youth Shocking to Protect the Fatherland, which have been widely deployed and are affirming the inheritance of the "Three Ready" and "Five Volunteers" movements during the resistance war.
