The Declaration on the Action Initiative of Youth and Students for a Sustainable Future is based on the results of discussions by delegates in the sessions of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Friendship Network. This network was established from the initiative of the Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam Student Association.
Declaration of Call for Action
The representative of the young leadership group stated in the statement: "With a sense of responsibility, we call on governments, leaders and the entire community to join hands to build a sustainable future, a sustainable community - where everyone "nurtures a pure heart, trains a bright mind" and builds great ambitions, aiming to build Vietnam into a civilized, cultured and heroic nation".
The closing ceremony of the 1st Ho Chi Minh City World Student Festival and the 8th International Student Science Forum took place at the University of Economics and Law (Ho Chi Minh City National University).

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Thanh Mai - Vice President of Ho Chi Minh City National University - assessed that the festival and the International Student Science Forum are not only a place to meet, exchange and learn, but also create opportunities to discuss and share creative ideas and breakthrough solutions to global issues.
In her closing speech, Ms. Tran Thu Ha - Deputy Secretary of the City Youth Union, President of the Vietnam Student Association of Ho Chi Minh City - said that each research achievement of the students is a vivid crystallization of intelligence, knowledge and scientific values.
"The scientific council and the organizing committee acknowledge your meaningful contributions to creating practical and creative solutions, bringing science to light the way for life," said Ms. Ha.
The research efforts of young researchers have demonstrated the important role of the young generation, the future owners of each country and nation.

Learn new things
At the program, delegate Truong Doan Quang Huy (University of Social Sciences and Humanities - Ho Chi Minh City National University) shared that he had the opportunity to learn more about the cultures he studied in the international relations major.
"It's a very practical opportunity for me to test and apply the knowledge I've learned. I'm happy to learn many good things from this forum," Huy said.

The forum's scientific council decided to award prizes to outstanding research topics selected from 38 papers.
These include awards for Social Impact, Breakthrough Research, Presentation Style, Topics Evaluated as Excellent by the Scientific Council, and Best Initiative (2 awards for each category) for research groups of Vietnamese and foreign students.
Along with that is an award for the research topic that is voted for the most on the forum's fanpage.
Receiving the award for Unique and Creative Presentation Style, delegate Le Bao Tran (International University - Ho Chi Minh City National University) said she was proud of having tried her best.
A group of Vietnamese and foreign students shared a topic about the importance of young people in responding to climate change (the 13th sustainable development goal of the United Nations).
