Accordingly, the project to build technical infrastructure for the Provincial General Hospital and high-quality medical and educational facilities in the Nam Cau Trang area (in Hong Ha and Ha Tu wards, Ha Long City) was approved by the People's Council of Ha Long City in Resolution No. 132/NQ-HDND dated October 14, 2023.

The project has also been appraised, approved and accepted for investment by central ministries and branches; specialized units have completed and approved the construction drawing design, cost estimates and selected construction contractors for bidding in accordance with standards and regulations of law.

It is known that the project has a total construction area of ​​about 30.25 hectares, including the following items: Leveling the ground, building main traffic routes and service routes; building water supply, drainage, power supply, lighting, fire protection, communication, landscape trees synchronously along traffic routes and other related technical infrastructure items.

The total approved investment of the project is 840 billion VND. Of which, the construction value is more than 250 billion VND. The project construction time is about 180 days, expected to complete the entire project in the first quarter of 2025.

The Project to Build Technical Infrastructure for the Provincial General Hospital Area and High-Quality Medical and Educational Facilities in the Nam Cau Trang Area, Hong Ha Ward and Ha Tu Ward, Ha Long City is part of the project to build a new Quang Ninh Provincial General Hospital, with a total investment of about 4,200 billion VND. This is an important project, identified as one of the key and driving projects of the city. Thereby, contributing to the completion of the city's infrastructure system; developing urban space, synchronous, civilized and modern landscape architecture; creating land funds to build high-quality medical and educational facilities, serving the interests of the community.

Along with that, with the goal of completing synchronous and modern facilities, meeting the needs of teaching and learning, and improving the training quality of the school, Ha Long City has established and approved the Project to build a new Trong Diem Secondary School on the land of the Provincial Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities. Accordingly, the Project to build a new Trong Diem Secondary School has an area of ​​over 1.5 hectares, a scale of 45 classrooms with a total investment of 160 billion VND, meeting the learning needs of 2,000 students.

The project includes the main items of construction of a new 5-storey administrative building with a construction area of ​​nearly 1,700 m2; construction of two new 4-storey school buildings with a construction area of ​​over 1,300 m2; construction of a new multi-purpose building and a basement with an area of ​​1,400 m2; renovation of the practice building into a library and completion of auxiliary infrastructure items.

Once completed and put into use, the project will improve the teaching and learning efficiency of more than 2,000 teachers and students of Trong Diem Secondary School - one of the schools with a tradition of high-quality education. At the same time, it will contribute to improving the quality of education and training in Ha Long City in particular and Quang Ninh Province in general.

According to plan, the project will be completed within 8 months, ensuring that the project will be put into use in the 2025-2026 school year.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony of the projects, Mr. Vu Ngoc Lam, Vice Chairman of Ha Long City People's Committee, affirmed that these are key projects and driving forces of the City. High-quality healthcare and education projects not only serve the community's interests and improve the quality of people's lives, but also create architectural and urban landscape highlights.
