Quang Ngai: Police rescue 2 drowning victims on Dak Bla River

At noon on July 20, Mr. Duong Anh Hung, Chairman of Kon Tum Ward People's Committee (Quang Ngai Province) said that the police force successfully rescued 2 people who drowned on Dak Bla River (section through Kon Tum Ward).

Bring the victim to shore safely

According to initial information, at about 5:37 a.m. the same day, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Quang Ngai Provincial Police received a report from people discovering a person drowning in the middle of the Dak Bla River.

The unit urgently mobilized vehicles and 12 officers and soldiers from the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Region 4 to the scene to organize the rescue.

At 5:57 a.m., the police force rescued the victim and brought him safely to shore.

The victim was identified as Ms. LTTN (born in 2006, residing on Lac Long Quan Street, Kon Tum Ward), showing signs of depression.

In addition, during the rescue process, the police discovered and rescued the victim's brother, who had gone down to save his sister, but did not know how to swim and showed signs of drowning.
