Approval of the Thong Nhat Park project at the Hien Luong River National Special Relic Site

Vice Chairman of Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam has just signed a decision approving the Thong Nhat Park project at the Hien Luong - Ben Hai National Special Relic Site with a total investment of 80 billion VND.

The main items of the project include: investment, renovation, repair of the flagpole area, complex house, Hien Luong bridge, relic management office building and North bank toilet, reception house and South bank toilet, auxiliary items, temporary works, investment in specialized equipment for the cinema room, equipment for management, explanation and guidance and other related equipment.

Approval of the Thong Nhat Park project at the Hien Luong - Ben Hai Special National Monument

For the investment in repairing Hien Luong bridge with a total length of 184 m and an average width of 8 m, the project will replace a part of the rusted and damaged iron and steel structure of the bridge in its original condition.

Replace the bridge surface wood with 50mm thick ironwood planks treated with specialized paint; repair and reinforce bridge abutments with high-strength carbon fiber panels, remove the lighting system and reinstall it in the correct position after completing the bridge structure.

The project's objective is to invest in renovating and preserving Thong Nhat Park at the Hien Luong - Ben Hai National Special Relic Site as a historical thematic park, gradually completing the infrastructure, promoting the effectiveness and historical and traditional cultural values of the relic.
