Man lost in the forest for 7 days

(NLDO)- Authorities and his family have found a man in Thanh Hoa who went missing since the first day of Tet after getting lost in the forest.


On February 6, news from the People's Committee of Hoa Quy commune, Nhu Xuan district, Thanh Hoa province said that local authorities and people found a man in the area after 7 days of missing.

Mr. Luong Xuan H. was found in the forest after 7 days missing.

Previously, on January 29 (the first day of the Lunar New Year), the family of Mr. Luong Xuan H. (born in 1978; residing in Thanh Huong village, Hoa Quy commune, Nhu Xuan district) reported to the local authorities that Mr. H. left home at noon on the first day of the Lunar New Year and did not return home.

Immediately after receiving the news, local authorities, relatives and neighbors mobilized forces to search for Mr. H.. However, after many days of searching, there was still no trace of Mr. H..

At around 4:00 p.m. on February 4 (January 7), authorities and relatives unexpectedly found Mr. H. in the forest, in the Hon Trai hill area, about 2 km from his home.

According to a representative of the People's Committee of Hoa Quy commune, at the time of discovery, Mr. H.'s health was relatively stable, despite being in the forest for 7 days without food or drink.

According to the representative of Hoa Quy Commune People's Committee, Mr. H. is a beneficiary of local social security, but he has never left home like he did recently.
