According to the Head of the Central Propaganda Department, after 94 years of construction and development, through different names, sometimes separated and merged to suit the practical requirements and tasks of each revolutionary stage, the Party's Propaganda Department has fulfilled its role and responsibility very well in any circumstances.

The propaganda sector has always maintained its leading and pioneering position in the Party's leadership. Since the beginning of 2024, the entire Propaganda sector has successfully completed its tasks, making an important contribution to maintaining political stability for socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security; building and rectifying a clean and strong Party and political system with many new, outstanding points of profound theoretical and practical significance.

The work of advising and directing Party building in politics, ideology, ethics and advising on propaganda fields has achieved many positive and outstanding results. In the first 6 months of the year alone, the Central Propaganda Department has developed 15 projects, summarized and summarized the Party's resolutions, directives and conclusions; advised the Politburo and the Secretariat to issue 10 new documents, including documents that required a lot of preparation and time, such as Regulation No. 144-QD/TW of the Politburo dated May 9, 2024 "On revolutionary ethical standards of cadres and party members in the new period", which was welcomed and recognized by cadres, party members and people of all walks of life.

"This is a regulation that the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong was very fond of and directed very carefully; consensus and unanimity within the Politburo was very high and comrade Nguyen Phu Trong directly signed and issued this regulation, to affirm the special attention of the Party, the Politburo, and the General Secretary himself to the importance of the regulation," Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia emphasized.

The Head of the Central Propaganda Department also acknowledged the efforts of the Propaganda sector in persistently and proactively maintaining the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in a more synchronous and drastic manner in all three elements: study, follow and set an example; at the same time, strongly applying into life and elevating Resolution No. 35-NQ/TW dated October 22, 2018 of the Politburo on strengthening the protection of the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile views in the new situation.

The Committee has advised the Politburo and the Secretariat and directly organized many important activities and events that have had great influence and profound educational significance, attracting the attention of cadres and party members, and have been highly appreciated by public opinion at home and abroad, creating an exciting atmosphere among all classes of people. Notably, the Conference to meet intellectuals, scientists, artists and writers in the Spring of Giap Thin 2024, and the 70th Anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory...

Along with that is directing and orienting propaganda, press - publishing, and foreign information work in a timely and effective manner, ensuring focus, key points, dosage, timing, and information discipline, especially on important domestic and international political issues and events; results achieved in social fields and issues of public concern.

Directing and orienting cultural, artistic, and scientific work to innovate in the direction of closely following reality, implementing synchronously and comprehensively all areas of social life; grasping the Party's resolutions on cultural guidelines, the direction of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong at the National Cultural Conference; implementing well the Party's policies and orientations in the fields of education - training, science - technology, environmental protection, disease prevention, people's health care; hunger eradication, poverty reduction, new rural construction...

In the coming time, Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia requested that the staff of the entire Party's Propaganda sector need to be more deeply aware of their role and mission, unite, be determined with the highest effort, and perform well the 5 work contents.

First of all, the entire Industry actively performed its core task of advising and summarizing theoretical and practical issues of 40 years of national renovation, making practical contributions to the drafting of documents for Party Congresses at all levels and the 14th National Party Congress; effectively completing the assigned tasks in Directive No. 35-CT/TW of the Politburo on Party Congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Party Congress.

Continue to effectively carry out regular and long-term propaganda work on the example and valuable legacies of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, including valuable legacies related to propaganda work, namely ideology, ethics and culture, to contribute to strengthening solidarity and high unity within the Party, consensus among the people, consolidating the great national unity bloc, gathering people's hearts, and maintaining faith in the Party's leadership.

Directing the focus on information and propaganda on the results achieved at the beginning of the 13th Party Congress and Party Congresses at all levels, the implementation of the Resolution for the 2020-2025 term in localities and ministries and branches. Advise on the organization of activities to celebrate major holidays and important events of the country. Programs and activities must arouse national aspirations, encourage people of all walks of life, at all levels and branches to overcome difficulties and challenges, strive to achieve the highest level of socio-economic goals, creating a solid foundation for our country to enter a new stage.

The Propaganda Department proactively researches, forecasts, and grasps the ideological situation and public opinion, promptly advises the Party Committee to direct handling, orientation, and create unity within the Party and consensus in society, and continues to do a good job of protecting the Party's ideological foundation and fighting against erroneous and hostile viewpoints. Proactively and promptly organizes conferences to disseminate and guide the implementation of the Politburo's Conclusion on protecting the Party's ideological foundation and fighting against bad, toxic information and erroneous and hostile viewpoints.

The sector continues to focus on building a team of cadres doing propaganda work with qualifications and steadfastness, upholding exemplary character, demonstrating well the "pioneering and pioneering" role of the Party's ideological work in the cause of building and defending the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland; encouraging people to carry out revolutionary tasks well.
