Tuition fees for the 2024 school year

Accordingly, for the next two academic years, tuition fees in Ha Giang differ between school levels and there is a significant disparity between urban and rural areas.

Specifically, in the new school year 2024-2025, tuition fees for urban areas (including wards, towns under districts, townships and cities) are as follows: kindergarten (except preschool children aged 5 years old) VND 92,000/student / month; primary and secondary education at the same level of VND 60,000/student/month; tertiary and higher-secondary regular education at VND 65,000/student.

For rural areas (including district municipalities, townships and cities) and ethnic minority areas, the tuition fee for kindergarten is VND35,000/student/month; primary school and secondary education are at the same level of VND30,000/student-month; regular education is VND50,000/studiant-month.

As of the 2025-2026 school year, tuition fees remain unchanged for four levels: preschool, elementary, K-12 and continuing education.

Huangjiang Province also stipulates that, for schools with sub-classification, the tuition fee is determined at the student's place of study.

For months in which the actual study time (including online learning, school-based compensation - PV) is less than a full month, less than 15 days (including the number of statutory holidays) will be collected for 1/2 month; 15 or more days will be paid.

Since elementary school is free of charge according to state regulations, the tuition fee for primary school students at the above-mentioned regulation level serves as a basis for the state to support the payment of fees for students in private educational institutions in localities that do not meet public schools.
