Regarding the case of "herding" customers to see land, fraud by Loc Phuc Company (34 Tien Giang, Ward 2, Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City), the Investigation Police Agency of Dong Nai Province Police has prosecuted the case, prosecuted the accused and temporarily detained 22 accused including Nguyen Van An (27 years old, residing in Tay Ninh, general director) and employees pretending to be customers to investigate the act of fraud and appropriation of property. The above decisions have been approved by the People's Procuracy at the same level.

Previously, as Thanh Nien reported, on the morning of August 31, after learning that Loc Phuc Company had organized an event to open a "trading floor" with signs of fraud and property appropriation at a project in An Vien commune, Trang Bom district (Dong Nai), Dong Nai Provincial Police mobilized hundreds of officers and soldiers from the Criminal Police Department, Traffic Police Department, Mobile Police Department and Trang Bom District Police, divided into many working groups to inspect.

Thereby, the police force caught Nguyen Van An and 185 related people (including 122 employees, 20 people hired to pretend to be customers, and 43 customers) and brought them to headquarters for clarification.

After that, Dong Nai police arrested Huynh Huu Tuong (32 years old, residing in Thao Dien Ward, District 2, Ho Chi Minh City), the suspect identified as the leader and mastermind. According to Dong Nai Provincial Police, Tuong managed all activities of the company but hired An as the general director to avoid responsibility and deal with the authorities.

Initial investigations show that Loc Phuc Company illegally earns tens of billions of dong each month. In the past few days, about 60 customers have come forward to report and denounce Loc Phuc Company’s real estate fraud with a transaction amount of over 70 billion dong.

Currently, the case of "hiding behind" a real estate company, "herding" customers to see land and then committing fraud by Loc Phuc Company is being urgently investigated by the police, clarifying all criminal acts to strictly handle according to the provisions of the law.
